Fujifilm's ATOMM tape offers the highest capacity of any 5.25" form factor tape product: up to 40GB (80GB with 2:1 data compression) for the DLT 8000. This huge capacity is made possible by a high track density and ATOMM technology for extremely high density recording. Sustained transfer speeds are up to 6MB per second (12MB with 2:1 compression), realized through a head system capable of multiple synchronous read/write channels (two for the DLT 4000, four for the DLT 8000).
